About SSALA

The Louisiana Self Storage Association was formed in 2007 to respond to the needs of self storage owners and operators throughout the state. Our mission is to strengthen the self-storage industry in Louisiana, promoting professional standards and quality and presenting a unified voice on issues affecting the industry in the state and in its communities.

The Louisiana Self Storage Association now has over two hundred members, and is adding new members every month. The Association regularly holds state and regional meetings designed to let current members, and those with an interest in entering the self-storage industry, hear about the latest legal, marketing, management, and construction information available. Nationally recognized speakers, such as Anne Ballard and Scott Zucker, have given invaluable information at these meetings that our members have been able to take back to their facilities and incorporate into their operations.

The Louisiana Self Storage Association now proudly partners with the Mississippi and Texas Self Storage Associations, as well as the national Self Storage Association, extending our reach across the Mid-South and the United States.
